There’s a certain comfort in knowing exactly where to go for a great Italian meal in Cherry Hill, and I’ve spent plenty of evenings figuring it out. From the pillowy gnocchi at Mare Monte to the waterfront views and buffalo chicken pizza at LaScala’s Birra, the range here is real.

I’ve had rabbit pappardelle that felt like a true specialty and a short rib that melted before I could even think about the drive home. One spot even greets you personally at the door.

So, here’s where I keep coming back to, and where you should go next.

The kids felt welcome, and we all enjoyed our meal. However, we went for a special occasion, and something just missed the mark. It wasn't bad, just not the celebratory feel we hoped for. Still, for a regular dinner with the family, it's a solid choice. The service and care are there, even if the sparkle wasn't.
