Lambertville is small, but the pizza game here punches well above its weight. You can grab a quick, no-nonsense slice at Nicola's and then turn around for a wood-fired pie at Nomad that tastes like the oven did all the heavy lifting.

Honestly, the range is wild. I’ve eaten my way from Market Pizza’s creative prosciutto and egg topping to Bell’s Tavern’s reliable Tuesday special.

One bite tastes like North Jersey, the next like a date night in a garage. So whether you’re crossing the bridge from New Hope or you live on York Street, this list is your next move.

I stopped into Nicola's for a quick lunch and left happy. The counter service is fast and the staff actually seem to enjoy their jobs. I grabbed a slice of their cheese pizza, and it hit the spot. It's not fancy, but the crust holds up and the sauce has a nice tang. For a no-nonsense slice in Lambertville, this place works. I appreciate that they don't overcomplicate things. Just solid, decent pizza when you need it. I'd come back for a quick bite, especially if I'm on the move. Nothing flashy, just reliable.

Nomad Pizza is a different animal. I sat down and ordered their wood-fired pie, and the smoky flavor in the dough caught me off guard. It's subtle but present, and it makes every bite interesting. I also tried the arugula salad, and it was outstanding. The staff remembered my name from a previous visit, which felt personal. The place has a modern feel, but it's not cold or distant. It's upscale without being stuffy. If you want a pizza that tastes like the oven did the work, this is your spot. I'll be back soon.

Catanzareti Pizza is a short drive north, and it's worth the trip. The prices are fair, and parking is easy, which is rare around here. I ordered a basic pie, and it was solid, nothing crazy. It's a family-friendly spot with a simple Italian and American menu. The vibe is casual, no-frills, exactly what you want for a low-key dinner. The staff were kind and didn't make me feel rushed. For the value alone, this place earns a repeat visit. It's not the trendiest place in town, but it delivers on the basics.

Eggplant parm sandwich praised
Service can be inconsistent and rude
Pizza receives solid positive reviews
Family-friendly Italian favorites shine

Giuseppe's surprised me in a few ways. Their antipasto salad is genuinely great, and I'd come back just for that. The eggplant parm sandwich also impressed me, hearty and well-seasoned. But the service was hit or miss. One visit, the staff seemed distracted, and another time they came off as rude. Still, the pizza itself gets solid marks. It's a family-friendly spot where the Italian classics shine. You just have to be patient with the front of the house. If you can look past that, the food holds up. I'd give it another shot.

Antonio's is a place I keep coming back to. The owner knows his regulars, and the staff treat you like a neighbor. I've had their hoagies multiple times, and they've never disappointed. But their pizza is the real draw. It reminds me of North Jersey quality, crisper and more flavorful than most around here. The non-pizza options are also fantastic, which says a lot. It's a humble spot, but the consistency is what wins me over. Every visit, I leave satisfied. This is a dependable choice for a casual meal in Lambertville.

Bell's Tavern has become my monthly ritual. The prices are low, and the portions are generous. I walked in on a Tuesday and caught one of their daily specials, which was a steal. The bartenders were welcoming, and the vibe is pure neighborhood bar. It's not a pizza destination per se, but they do have pizza and it's solid. What keeps me coming back is the warmth. You feel like a regular even on your first visit. The drive is worth it every time. I've never left disappointed.

T54 Restaurant & Bar feels a bit more polished than your average joint. The Italian flavors are authentic, and the dishes come out looking beautiful. I ordered a pizza that was tasty, though the whole experience goes beyond the pie. The patio is charming, especially when the live piano is playing. Service was attentive but not overbearing. The dining room is bright and energetic. It's a place you go for a full evening, not just a quick slice. I'd come back for a date night or a celebratory dinner. The pizza is part of a larger experience.

Broadmoor Osteria Italiana is the kind of place that feels like a secret. It's a BYOB spot, which already gives it a romantic edge. The chef-driven tasting menu is an event, and I tried their sausage and porcini pasta that was the standout of the night. Their homemade tiramisu stuck with me long after I left. The family hospitality makes you feel like you're dining in someone's home. It's not cheap, but it's worth it. If you want a memorable night out in Lambertville, this is where I'd point you.

Lambertville Bakehouse is more of a bakery, but they have pastries that could double as dessert after pizza. The almond croissant is worth the wait, flaky and fresh. I also tried their savory babka, and it surprised me in the best way. The staff make you feel like a regular, even on your first visit. The space is cozy and rustic, the kind of place you want to linger. The pastries are made daily, and you can taste the freshness. It's not a pizza stop, but it's a necessary stop in Lambertville.

Highlights
Wood-fired filet and salmon
Creamy house butter starter
Attentive, friendly table service
Lovely string-lit patio seating

Revolution Woodfire Grille is where I go when I want something fancier. The wood-fired filet and salmon are the main draws, but their pizza is also done well on the grill. The house butter they bring out is dangerously good, and I could eat it with bread alone. The table service was attentive and friendly, and they didn't hover. The patio is lovely at night, strung with lights and quiet. It's a step up from your typical pizza place, but still relaxed. I'd book a table for a special occasion.

Market Pizza made me a fan for life. I walked in after closing, and they still served me with a smile. That kind of kindness goes a long way. Their thin crust pizza is easy to eat, light and crisp. I tried one with prosciutto and egg, and the combination worked. Fresh ingredients, thoughtfully put together. It's the kind of creative topping list you don't expect from a casual slice spot. I've been back twice since. This place deserves the repeat visits. It's a hidden gem in the best way.
